You do not want a GL5 spec oil in the trans,as the EP additive combined with a little condensation moisture will form acids that eat aluminum. Check and Adjust Axle Oil Level Check axle oil level for a PACCAR 40k tandem rear axle 1 pail of oil should be more than enough to fill your differential
